We’re in search of a senior or lead full-stack software engineer to be a core part of a small, agile team that is building a world class platform for designing, creating, and maintaining custom mobile applications–a rockstar engineer who groks web and mobile applications.  Be one of the first members of our exciting team in a dynamic environment solving new challenges everyday using a wide range of modern technologies.

We believe in agile software development, metrics, short feedback loops, well-designed APIs, test driven development, automation wherever possible, and all sorts of other things to make sure we can minimize friction and focus on solving the big problems.

What you’ll do:

• Develop elegant, scalable, robust, and maintainable code
• Contribute significantly to the web based app building platform, including designing and developing the user experience as well as developing and architecting the back-end service that processes, builds, and communicates with the custom mobile applications
• Develop and architect features that run on mobile clients – including iPhone, Android, and more
• Use expertise in agile software development, metrics, short feedback loops, well-designed APIs, test driven development, and automation to ensure a minimal amount of friction in order to maximize focus on solving large problems

Requirements:

• Excellent coding skills. You’re a standout among your peers, who tend to seek you out for your input on hard problems
• Expert in Ruby and solid experience building Rails applications
• JavaScript guru, with a solid understanding of HTML5/CSS (and friends) as well
• Familiar with databases, such as MySQL
• Discipline for testing and automation – unit, functional, integration, and other forms of automated testing
• Stellar communication skills, able to work well with a smart, passionate, and growing team
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
